Mirar en la oscuridad

RP. ¡Sí! Algunas veces la tradición es tan pesada que te paraliza. Sientes esa dualidad de gratitud y, al mismo tiempo, ese deseo de reinventar, de ir más allá... ¿Ves?, todos estos síntomas son comunes a tantas otras disciplinas: a la literatura, a la pintura, al teatro, a la historia. Siempre he tenido muchos amigos con otros oficios que tienen mis mismas curiosidades, incluido ese deseo de mirar en la oscuridad. Si miras en la oscuridad con cierta insistencia, al final consigues ver y entender.

RC. Mirar en la oscuridad, ¿como invitaba a hacer Marguerite Yourcenar?

RP. Sí. Y es necesario mirar a la oscuridad con desobediencia y con un poco de insolencia, que no hace daño. Éstas son cosas muy importantes y no tienen fronteras.
